On July 20, 1970, humanity first landed on the moon, stepping forward with two feet to pursue a dream.
Over the past two years, RunOurCity Foundation has initiated the charitable fundraising project “Run To The Moon” and the student version of “Walk To The Moon,” both receiving positive responses and achieving great success!
This year, we are continuing our efforts and partnering once again with “Buddhist Fat Ho Memorial College” to co-host the student version, named “Walk To The Moon 2022.” We sincerely invite all schools in the city (including kindergartens, primary schools, and secondary schools), as well as teachers, students, and parents, to participate and become moonwalkers!
Virtual Run Dates: From now until January 10, 2023 (a total of 10 weeks)
Registration Fee for Moonwalkers: $80 per person (includes a moon landing medal and certificate)
Completion Medal: All moonwalkers who complete over 1 kilometer will receive a moon landing certificate and one medal.
Participants can also purchase a moon charity sports shirt at a special price of $50 for those joining “Walk To The Moon.”
Final Overall Rankings (to be announced after the event concluding on January 10):

Registration Process
Step 1
Each school must provide one representative teacher responsible for receiving information, contact, and reporting.
Please have the representative teacher fill out the following “Representative Teacher Registration Link” form (WTTM2022 Representative Teacher Registration Link)
Step 2
As a group, the school should make payment by cheque (payable to: RUNOURCITY FOUNDATION LIMITED).
After that, complete the “Group Registration Form” provided by the organizers and have the responsible teacher email it to the “Walk to the Moon” email address (runtothemoon@runourcity.org)
Step 3
Record walking or running distances:
Participants can use any method/tool to record their activity distances. The representative teacher only needs to collect the records from your school’s participants. The form will be shared with the representative teacher in Google Excel format after receiving your school’s registration form.
This event aims to encourage and include more students or classes to participate. The goal is to establish a running habit among students and participants, promoting physical and mental health while uniting everyone to achieve a common goal together.
